I really liked this product. I was hesitant at first because NYC products in general have never really suited me, but this lipstick is amazing! And, for a good price too. The colour is vibrant and lasts a long time without drying out. I could go the better part of a whole day without having to reapply.

I love this lipstick. I got it in sheer red. Its very pigmented. sheer red is kind of a darker red(but not very dark) Its VERY long-lasting. I've had it on since about 8:00am and it stayed on after eating throughout the day and now even about 14 hours after.. This was my first red lipstick ever and I'm not disappointed at all!!! :D

I love this lipstick! It's quite moisturizing but also long wearing. It stayed on even after eating. I purchased the color Violet Shine, which is a medium pinkish purple color that isn't too bright, actually, its very wearable. It has a satin finish, a little bit of shine but definitely not frosty. What I love about this lipstick is that it keeps lips moist but it doesn't settle in the corners of your lips like some by other brands. Pigmentation is good and it smells really nice, like berries. I have since purchased Chiffon and Petal. I will review those as soon as I try them.

I will never forgive them for discontinuing the "rose petal" shade of this lipstick. I am still mourning it :(. It was my absolute fave! I've never found a shade that suited me better.

Given the price, the quality is unbeatable. It just smells like old lady lipstick :) Other than that if you like little shimmering lip color, you can try it.

I purchased Retro Red, and I really like it! It is very pigmented and very moisturizing; you do have to touch up through out the day but I don't mind! Loving these lipsticks!

I have been using NYC for years, and have always loved the colour chiffon, in fact this is the only colour I ever use on my lips, it suits my fair skin tone perfectly. The creamy soft texture also keeps my lips moist and prevents cracking.
The only draw back is that you do need to touch up throughout the day, but I don't mind because this is the only lipstick that I have ever really loved the colour and the price!
Just wanted to also mention that I could not find NYC in my local department store anymore, so when I did a search online and found this product on well.ca, I was so happy. They made ordering easy and it was fast, loved the fact it is a Canadian company and shipping was free!
