I use oil of wintergreen to remove "tagless" tags (the plastic melted-on type so common in underwear, t-shirts, etc.). My son's skin gets very rashy from the tags and with a little soaking and scrubbing, wintergreen oil removes those tags! Wonderful discovery, thanks Google!
Oil of Wintergreen is a product I used for years then suddenly it wasn't available in local pharmacies anymore. I looked for this locally and tried to make special orders but again not available through local suppliers. I was really pleased to find Oil of Wintergreen available through Well.ca at a reasonable price. The product is very effective as a rub for my painful arthritic knee and shoulder. Its something I use sparingly but this works when other analgesic ointments gave short term relief only.
I love a cacpful of this in the tub. It also helped me get thru a frozen shoulder, rubbing it on directly a few times a day.
I used this on my shoulder to help with frozen shoulder. I also love it in my bath when my joints are sore.
