Smaller than I expected. But actually a perfect little snack size for Cheerios or puffs. My 2.5 year old can't lift the lid on his own. I wouldn't say it's a "flip" top, that gives the impression that it flips open easily. It's a regular lid that you pull open and snap shut, that happens to be attached to the container. Pricy in my opinion.
