This benzyl peroxide is perfect for everyday acne treatment!!
I am currently following the acne.org regime but instead of using the website's products I've decided to use drug store products, such as Cetaphil and PanOxyl. What is great about PanOxyl's benzyl peroxide is that it is a gel instead of a cream. Before I was using Spectro's benzyl peroxide which was a cream and when I would apply it to my face it would show up white; the gels are clear. Also, PanOxyl's comes in a tube where as Spectro's comes in a petite bottle. This product is definitely worth the money!

Simply put, it works! It does dry out the skin just a bit, hence the 4 stars, otherwise it's a great product. I use a really thin layer twice a day and follow it by Vit.C serum. Get it. It works!

Great product, mild on my sensitive skin and I haven't had breakouts which is great. I would recommend it. It's not too drying either.

This product has eliminated my breakouts completely. I use it once a day. The first 2 weeks of use my face was drier than normal, with some flakiness, but no redness or irritation. After the initial 2 week period, the dryness has now gone away. I do follow with a moisturizer (few drops of jojoba oil mixed with a small dollop of aloe vera gel). The price is right as a tube lasts me about 2 months. Love this product!

Does the job: keeps pimples away. Surprised that the 2.5% can do as well as the 5% without the flaking and dryness. I take off one star for making my skin feel too tight.

I use a thin layer over my face followed by SPF moisterizer in the mornings. It is effective without the excessive dryness and redness, you get a lot more product then you would with spot treatments, and it's affordable. At night I still use the Neutrogena Acne Night Cream which is a little stronger.
