This product is my HG for easy and quick removal of wax residue on my skin. It has excellent spreadability so a little goes a long way. This oil soothes and calms my just-waxed skin and leaves it very soft and not greasy at all. I don't know why I have never seen this product sold in stores just on its own. The little vials they include in Parissa kits are so hard to un-cap and when you dispense the oil it gets all over the vial. All you haters of liquid wax, YOU CAN'T EXPECT WAX RESIDUE TO COME OFF WITH JUST SOAP & WATER. This product does the job effortlessly. FYI, I am an absolute beginner at self-waxing. I use GiGi All Purpose Honee wax (non-microwave kind). This azulene oil made my first waxing experience very pleasant, effective, and encouraging!!!
*** TIP: For controllability, spritz product into a tiny measuring bowl or onto a tea bag rest and then just take a little at a time with your index finger. No mess, no waste!

The Azulene oil is very light oil and has a lovely scent. It does what is says it will do and that is very comforting. The first time I tried it, I didn't follow the waxing directions properly and ended up with nasty itching and redness. My skin is excessively sensitive but, the oil came to the rescue and relieved a good deal of the discomfort. I would definitely recommend it.

My first waxing experience "down there" was pretty traumatic with instant irritation, followed by pimples and then ingrowns. Before I went again, I did my research and found this (along with Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe pads) and applied it immediately after. I had absolutely no irritation this time. Amazing stuff!

Perfect to use after any waxing product (and I mean any!). It feels great and smells nice. I haven't used it for slowing down hair growth so I cannot verify if it does that. I only use it as an after-wax. I highly recommend it for just that.

great product. it does get all of the wax residue off. and leaves my skin feeling very smooth. i do see some reduction in ingrown hair, but doesn't seem to slow hair growth as much (since my hair regrows pretty quickly). the pump spray is great, gives good coverage, so that you don't have to spread it around like other after care oils. I recommend this product!

I first tried this product when I purchased Parissa wax strips and the Azulene oil came with it.I do not like waxing really and have gone back to shaving, but I can not seem to find The Azulene oil by itself locally. It works wonderfully. It soothes and I had very few ingrown hairs with it compared to without it.I wonder why the pharmacies don't carry it?

It's fabulous. The burning stops in a few minutes. The redness fades right away after a couple of hours instead of days. It's great to use after waxing, sugaring or shaving.

Pros: very good for removing left over wax, great smooth and soothing feeling moisturizer.
Cons: does not really minimize hair growth or ingrown hairs (still have a lot of those).
