Proferrin is a heme iron polypeptide. Heme is a naturally sourced form of iron derived
from bovine hemoglobin and is used to prevent and treat those at risk of iron deficiency.
Medicinal Ingredient: IRON (Heme Iron Polypeptide-Bovine hemoglobin)............11mg
Non-medicinal Ingredients: Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Sucrose, Polyvinyl
Alcohol, Titanium Dioxide, PEG-3350, Talc, Chlorophyllin, Povidone, Protease,
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Calcium Stearate, Food Glaze, Silicon Dioxide
Recommended dose (adults): Take one tablet three times daily with a full glass of water, with or without food, or as recommended by your health practitioner. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this product.
Warnings: Keep away from children. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is leading cause of fatal poisoning in children younger than 6 years. If accidental overdose does occur, call a doctor or poison centre immediately.
