I've been using this file for almost 2 years. I take care of it by rinsing or giving it a quick brush with a regular nail brush. Of the different types of files I've used over the years this is my favourite. Leaves absolutely no ragged edges. Personally think it's worth the $$$.

this is a very efficient and effect file, gentle and not too rough on nails edges.. excellent for finishing or touching up. not for hard or thick nails.

In response to the other reviews, have you RINSED and DRIED your file after use? This will ensure your file stays sharp...and yes, they do last a lifetime as long as you don't drop it or LOSE it as I have.
