This hard water formula is perfect for those that struggle with the
toughest of water types! Hard Rock will blow you away! If you struggle
with stinky cloth diaper laundry, Hard Rock is for you! It's gentle on
baby's skin, but tough on stink and grime.
We use this product for our regular laundry as well as for baby and diapers and love it. It's really not that much more expensive than "regular" detergent, and we love the fact that it is so green.
I chose this detergent for my cloth diapers because of our very hard water. With other detergents I would have to add quite a bit more to get the diapers clean, but then I had a very hard time getting the soap out of the them. RnG Hard Rock seems to be working great so far, I only use 1.5-2 tsp per load and only have to do an extra 1-2 rinses to get the suds out (other brands I was doing 4-5 rinses). The lavender smell is nice when you go to wash, but it all washes away in the rinse :)
This detergent works far better than the last one we tried (bumgenius). The scent is a nice addition and hasn't affected our flip synthetic liners at all.
Works great with Calgary's hard water, and it cleans the cloth diapers very well. When used in conjunction with "Funk Rock" the need to strip diapers is reduced considerably. Unlike some of the other products, it does not irritate our child's skin. I wish I had found this product for my first child.
I love this detergent. I tried another for my cloth diapers and was only getting 3-4 weeks out of the cloth diapers before I needed to "strip" the diapers. I'm now getting 7-8 weeks. The fragrance is very mild and pleasant.
I've been using Rockin' Green to wash my baby's diapers. It works great! I've also discovered that it is a wonderful detergent to use to wash my towels in. The towels smell fresher for much longer--even after getting wet!
