I like to slick my hair back as they did in the 50's so the product must be thick and non sticky. This has got to be one of the worst hair gels I have ever used and was very disappointed by L'Oreal. The gel was so sticky and dries to fast. I tried to slick my hair back but it was not working. As the gel is so sticky it was pulling my hair back extremely flat and there were clumps of hair everywhere. Hair strands sticking to each other. I take pride in having all the comb marks carefully preserved. The hold is strong but nothing out of this world.
I am not sure what this kind of gel is good for. I foudn it useless for slick backs and useless for spiking since it is so sticky.
