Vitalux Plus Omega-3

Vitalux plus Omega-3 is formulated for those diagnosed with AMD, to help delay the progression of the disease and to help maintain healthy vision. This formulation contains all the medicinal ingredients of the original Vitalux AREDS Formula, but with the addition of omega-3.

If you have AMD, do not smoke or did not recently quit smoking, consider Vitalux plus Omega-3 for your eye health. It includes:

• Beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, along with zinc and copper
• 1052 mg of fish oil (source of omega-3 fatty acids)
• 200 mg DHA/400 mg EPA per daily dose
• Natural triglyceride-based fish oil
• Lutein and zeaxanthin, with 10 mg of lutein per daily dose

Directions: Adults: Take 2 softgel capsules twice daily with a meal or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medication.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Yellow wax, soybean oil, soy lecithin, gelatin, glycerin, red iron oxide, titanium dioxide, black iron oxide.

Contains no salt, sugar, gluten, lactose, MSG, artificial colours or flavours.

Precautions: Smokers and ex-smokers should consult a health care practitioner before taking beta-carotene. Consult a health care practitioner if experiencing decreased visual acuity or if you are taking tetracyclines. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cancer. A potential side effect is yellowing of the skin. This product has come into contact with soy, fish and sulphites. Do not use this product if you are allergic to soy, fish or sulphites.
