Calendula Oil
Gently cares for and protects delicate skin
Protects the skin from the drying effects of the environment. Ideal for a gentle massage after bathing and for cleansing the diaper area. Gentle Sweet Almond Oil, biodynamic Calendula and organic Chamomile soothe the skin.
Directions for use: After bathing, pat your baby’s skin dry and massage in Calendula Oil. If your child likes this, you can use this oil to massage his/her whole body. This has a calming and soothing effect, and the massage movements help your child become familiar with the contours of his/her body. When changing diapers, you can put a few drops of Calendula Oil on a damp tissue or cotton pad and then wipe the bottom area clean. If you are giving your child a bath or shower, you can rub Calendula Oil into his/her skin to cleanse.

I use calendula oil for babies since my son was born 28 months ago. I love all of the Weleda products, because they are natural and have expiry dates. They are very gentle on the baby's skin.

I have been using this product on my baby for almost one year. My little guy has very sensitive skin. We lather him in it after bath time. Recently, he had a bit of diaper rash and put a couple dabs in the area. The redness went away over night. As a precaution, I apply it with every diaper change.

I had high hopes for this product to help my baby's eczema, but it gave him a nasty rash, probably due to the citrus in it. Citrus is highly allergenic.

I don't recommend this if your baby has sensitive skin. My son had a reaction to it and I have had to discontinue using it which is disappointing. I am not sure what is in it that he is reacting to....

I have sensitivities to petrochemical products so am always on the look-out for excellent products that don't contain them. Weleda is one of my favourite brands -- we've enjoyed all of their products (and the only time I did have a problem with one, it was because the tube was too small). This baby oil is superb -- my thirsty skin soaks it in and smells wonderful!

I have been using this product for about a month and am very pleased with its results. I massage my 5-month old after a bath and he loves it. Rubs in quite well and calms eczema flare-ups down almost overnight. Freshly and delicately scented. Love the fact that is a natural product.

I like this oil a lot. It hydrates my baby's dry skin well preventing from eczema flare ups. I use it after bath or every cloth face wash. It's great that this product is natural and safe to use on babies. I also have very dry skin and eczema on my chin/neck area and found this product works nicely for me too.

Works great on everything. Cradle cap, as lotion for all ages. For sunburns so they don't peel. Works great on my face melting away the wrinkles.

Excellent product. My daughter (3) has suffered from mild eczema since the first 6 months. Avoiding corticol steroid creams which only weaken the skin's self-rejuvenating ability, we have tried changing her diet, changing bathing products (only the most mild and perfume/allergy/preservative free) and various skin treatments (e.g. Glaxal Base--worked for 2 weeks, then no more, A&E lotions, Aveeno, homeopathic, special diaper rash/baby skin creams). This oil (better than the lotion) has been the only one to stick! We are on our second bottle now (the first one lasted about 2 months), and the 'treatment' seems to be holding well. I massage it onto her body after her bath and towel dry. It has a pleasant mild sweet scent, is very light with an orange colour to it, and absorbs very well. My daughter refers to it as "my special oil" and I agree, it is a very special oil! Thank you Weleda for making this, and thank you Well.ca for supplying it so readily!
