SPF (Sun Protection Factor):<\/span><\/b> SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. It’s a measure of how effectively a sunscreen protects your skin from UVB rays, which are the rays responsible for causing sunburn. The\u202fSPF number\u202ftells you how long the sun\u2019s UV radiation would take to redden your skin when using the product\u202f<\/span>exactly as directed<\/span><\/i>\u202fversus the amount of time without any\u202fsunscreen. So<\/span>,<\/span> with SPF 30 it would take you 30 times longer to burn than if you weren\u2019t wearing sunscreen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>In a nutshell, the higher the SPF number, the greater the protection against sunburn. But remember, SPF should be used alongside other sun protection measures like seeking shade, wearing protective clothing, and avoiding peak sun hours for optimal protection.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
