Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer
I absolutely love this product from Aveeno! A jar does not last long for myself . I use the cleanser as well daily . Great for sensitive skin, I use on my entire face , over my eye lids , as I suffer from severe Dry Eye and am waiting for surgery. I start with my neck and apply upwards to my forehead ! It has not caused any acne , as it’s a thick gel ! If you love this product as much as I do , watch for when on sale ! I prefer to use as a night moisturizer, or if not wearing makeup. I have sensitive skin, combination skin , and am 47 years old . Only thing that I could tell Aveeno, please put in a bigger jar , bottle , etc ! I would use then a lot more and as a hand & foot gel moisturizer then ! 5 stars !!!!

Aveeno Calm and Restore is mediocre

I purchased the new Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel moisturizer to try and at first glance the packaging was really disappointing. The package felt very cheap especially considering the price point.
After trying it I felt like it didn't do anything for my skin. The texture of the cream was thin and light but it felt like there was nothing applied after using it.
I wouldn't consider recommending this product to anyone due to the fact there are plenty of other more effective creams out there.

I purchased Aveeno oat moisturizer to try in exchange for my honest review and I was so impressed. The cream itself was light and felt amazing on my skin. There was a bit of a cooling sensation but my face felt so moisturized and fresh after. The product absorbed almost immediately and I was able to apply makeup very quickly afterwards (faster than most other products I've used). I also really liked the jar format - it makes it easier to use all of the product with no waste. I will buy this again.

Can’t live without it!
I have been using the entire calm & restore line for about 8 months now and I am thrilled with the results. My once combination blemish prone skin has become dehydrated, sensitive and reactive with age. I was having a lot of skin barrier issues and decided to try the calm & restore line after learning about it from YouTube dermatologist Dr.Dray. I haven’t looked back and will never switch! My skin has improved so much. The star ingredient colloidal oatmeal has so many benefits which improve/maintain the skin barrier plus antioxidant and calming. The moisturizer is light weight and is perfect for layering my tinted sunscreen and makeup on top. Aveeno, please never discontinue this line and thnx for making such a stellar product!!

Gentle, Soothing and Incredibly effective

I have sensitive, combination skin and every year as summer turns to fall, I experience varying levels of dryness across my entire face. I used this moisturizer as my night skincare routine and my dry skin issues are nearly eliminated. It is a gentle, soothing product and did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. Definitely patch test first because what's great for me may not work for you. Despite the container being quite small, it lasts for a while. I am a huge fan of this product.

Amazing for sensitive skin!

It has a present smell even though there are no fragrances (something I really appreciate). There are no fragrances, parabens, or phthalates in this moisturizer and that is one thing that stands out for me and makes it more likely this will be a staple in my skincare routine. It's for sensitive skin which is great because during the winter months my skin is especially sensitive. This did not irritate my face at all. It actually feels very soothing on my skin. I would definitely recommend this product.

My favorite moisturizer
I bought this moisturizer because I really like the cleanser from the Calm+Restore line and it is now my favorite moisturizer ever. I have mild acne, like I have mostly closed comedones on my foreheads and this did not make me break out, it's really great. Also, my skin texture has improved a lot since I've been using this moisturizer with the serum and the cleanser forms the same line. I highly recommend it!!

The texture is a very lightweight gel, fragrance and color free which is awesome. Upon application it feels very cooling and soothing, and absorbs so quickly without leaving any sort of residue. My skin felt hydrated and very calm. I even tested this out on my flaky, sore and very dry hands, instantly hydrated and feeling so much better! This moisturizer is going to be incredible for winter. Highly recommend!
