I was very hesitant to try this at first. I've been using a different mousse for years and I wasn't sure if I wanted my hair to smell like cake. But since I love their other products, I thought I'd give it a try. When first applied, the scent is on the stronger side but doesn't last like that all day. Most importantly, like the description said, this gives lots of volume but leaves zero crunch!! Would recommend and will be buying again; it's my new go to!

My go-to hair product
I have wavy/frizzy/curly hair and this mousse is gives great volume, defines my curls and minimizes frizz. I am not a fan of overly scented products but I do not find this mousse to be strong at all, especially once you apply to your hair. Also - a little product goes along way! I have been using the same canister for a few months. Does not leave hair feeling crunchy either! Highly recommend!

If I wanted water… from
Works well
I bought this because I was finding my curl cream a bit to heavy for my wavy/curly hair. This mousse comes out light but you can feel the oiliness in it from the various moisturizers as you work it in - a very small amount goes a very long way. It smells like lemon cake mix from a box when you first put it on, but the smell fades fairly quickly. This has been good for making my curls nice and thick and soft without being weighed down. A good buy.

The Curl Whip Mousse
Love it! Smells amazing but not overpowering. I have naturally frizzy hair - it can be curly but because it’s thin and fly away I have to apply the right product to get the curls. This mousse prompts lots of curl and volume. Would definitely recommend. This is my new go-to.

Not gimicky
At first while my hair was drying it was incredibly crunchy and i thought it would just be another mousse that left my hair hard. When it dried it became so soft and i didnt have to break the crust or anything. Love the way it made my curls look as well

DISCONTINUED???? Please bring it back!
I cant find this anywhere and the other Volumizing version is terrible - it has a bad scent and does nothing but make my curls limp and my texture feels gross. Please bring back the original Whip -- my curls haven't been the same since I ran out!

love the curl and loathe the smell
It is fantastic for enhancing my curls, and the price is great. But I won't be buying it again, because it smells like the icing on a cheap supermarket birthday cake. If only the manufacturer would create a better scent!
