REFILLABLES are the future..and 50 Metre spool here?
All products need to go to refillable. This stainless steel bottle is durable, and created for Vegans finally. Is it as strong as plastic coated in teflon? No... as it needs to biodegrade after use. So don't flush - put in your compost after use. Double the strand if you hit a weak spot. (anything NATURAL has strong and weak points, like wood) This spool DOES NOT fit into the FLOSSPOT (silk) glass bottle as its 10Metres longer.

Works well
I find it as strong as the the flossing tape I was using before. I'd even accept a few extra torn thread for the decreased environmental impact. But no issues so far. My only complaint is the thread cutter on the lid isn't that well designed. Other than that, I'd recommend!

Lovely, zero waste packaging and it works!
I bought this several months ago and have stuck with using it. I really like the consistency of the floss and the dispenser is perfect -- small, functional and NOT plastic. The first spool lasted me approx. six months and worked really well. The refill has lasted even longer but unfortunately the floss doesn't seem as strong (?) as it breaks all the time.

I've been using this for about two weeks now and am very happy with it. I like the texture and the strength and of course the (lack of) packaging! The floss has only snapped twice, in a pretty tight spot, and I don't even notice a Ginger-Mint flavour.

Breaks easy
I bought this dental floss for the right reasons (vegan!) for myself and my husband but unfortunately it easily breaks during every use so far. I love the idea of a vegan floss but would love to know why make a product that does not appear to do its purpose all and now unfortunately it has to go to waste!! We tried using it three times now and every time it breaks at the beginning of the flossing adventure... for this main reason we will not be buying this product again or would recommend it to anyone else.

I have been waiting for this Vegan floss for decades. It is strong, good grip, absorbent and really sensible in that it is Refillable. We need all products to be plastic free and refillable. Nice job well.ca nice find..I am a lifer!

Floss breaks
I bought this because I had the glass jar, but I dropped it, and of course it broke. I love the refillable format, but the floss breaks often, and has a squeaky feel that creeps me out. I've also had issues where the top of the canister, the part with the hole that the floss comes out of, gets stuck inside the lid and I have to pull it out with tweezers.

Disappointed
Very excited to go the eco-route with floss, but it was a disappointment, won't buy again or recommend. The floss broke TWICE the first go of using it... maybe if you have teeth that aren't tight it would be good but breaking twice on first use for me is, well, a deal-breaker.
