Nooks Design's consistent line of booties is made from 100% pure felted New Zealand lambs wool for breathability and comfort. The soft wool body of the bootie has been paired with fun wool accents and leather toe and heel caps for a timeless and classic look that pairs well with any outfit. A rugged suede sole offers slip-resistance on indoor surfaces and is durable enough to be worn outdoors in dry conditions. The Velcro flap closure makes them easy to put on the squirmiest feet and secures around calves of all sizes for a comfortable fit. An elastic built into the ankle holds them gently in place.
Nooks Design felted wool booties were originally created for their daughter's first steps out of a discarded cashmere sweater and the leather from a purse. Friends quickly noticed that the stylish booties made from natural fibers with soft slip-resistant soles were what they wanted for their little ones too and the demand grew from there. In 2017, they partnered with a Fair Trade-certified sewing team in Nepal where additional pairs are made from 100% pure New Zealand lambswool in order to keep up with demand from retailers.
