- Hand washing all the parts is recommended to keep OmieBox in tip top shape for years to come

- Foods with high liquid content should be stored in the thermos

Love this lunch box!
We currently own two of these lunch box already, one V1 and one V2. This is my 3rd purchase for this lunch box as I wanted to replace one of the v1 for the V2. Compared to the V1 it has improved a lot. The cover is easier to open, the thermos fit anyway instead of the perfect fit required for the V1. Most importantly the rubber seal has Changed so that nothing is trapped in between to creat mold. It take very little time to clean and dry now. It is such a time saver and worth the money to replace the V1. I love that they don’t need an additional outer layer bag to put their lunch box in. The lunch box is big enough to carry all their snacks and lunch for the day. The kids love the lunch box and are so proud to carry it around.

Does not keep food warm
Does not keep food warm/hot. Even if you pre-heat the thermos things are lukewarm after an hour.

Still my favourite lunch box!
I wrote a review about this 4 years ago. We are still using the same lunch box and I’ve purchased 3 more as my 4 kids started school. I love love love it. As a teacher, I appreciate the ease of it. Children know what to eat when, and it promotes healthier eating since you can’t stuff it with wrapped goodies. It’s the easiest lunch box doesn’t take up too much space (please don’t put it in another lunch box; I don’t know why people do that). They are easier to open now as my first review my son had a hard time closing the box. But the new version is very easy. Cleaning is a breeze. I hand wash it always. The washing machine ruins things and these are pricey. Some may argue for the price it should be dishwasher dryer safe, but as with everything nothings made to last so I take the time to handle with care. With 4 boys I’d rather pay a higher price for higher quality knowing they can use their hand me downs and it’s still in good condition. These are worth the price and the option to switch up hot and cold foods sold me too.

Used less than a week and mould is present
Would not recommend this product. Safety hazard for children’s health. Used less than 6 times and there is a significant amount of mould on the product. I am still waiting on a refund.

Looks great, but not ideal for kids
The OMIE box is very pretty and built well.
The stainless steal insert is great as well.
But it's pretty heavy so not great for a young kid. We've also had some issues and are having some trouble cleaning some of the silicone seals inside, even if they can be removed.

Disappointed
I am really disappointed as the lid for the thermos don’t screw straight and properly despite many attempts from adults so it’s impossible to have my daughter use it for school.

Too bulky
This lunch box is cute but it’s too bulky and the food does not stay warm in the thermos.
