My new favourite!!
OMG this is so good. It smells and tastes amazing and reminds me a lot of the Betty Crocker rainbow chip frosting I used to love as a kid. I make mine with skim milk and sweeten with Volupta monksugar. Previously my favourite Blume flavour was the Blue Lavender, I've also tried the Pumpkin Spice & Gingerbread but didn't enjoy those flavours as much. I find that birthday cake flavours can either be gross or delicious depending on the brand's execution...I'm guessing the previous reviewer likes the products that I find gross. To each their own, but if you're a funfetti lover I would definitely give this a try!

I will cry if this ever gets officially taken off the shelves! Please Blume, quit the limited edition horror! I discovered Blume years ago as I’m extremely caffeine sensitive (ruins my insides) and also have a blood circulation syndrome called reynauds. Anyway, their beet latte was right up my alley (love) THEN I finally read the ingredients in this baby! The most amazing line up I’ve ever seen!!! This is my new favorite drink in the AM, hot or iced, tastes great (naturally sweet like the beer latte with a slight birthday cake after taste). Gives you that matcha like boost without the caffeine and has all the benefits of the beet latte for my lacking blood circulation.

Different Flavor Than Advertised
I was seriously intrigued by the "birthday cake" latte, so made my very first purchase with Blume. When I opened the package, I was a bit surprised at the reddish color of the powder (I expected white or light beige). I took a sniff, and was further surprised by the slightly fruit punch smell. I made as directed (adding a bit of stevia as sweeter), and sure enough received a fruit punchy almost cherry taste. Can't say I ended up a fan, so I gifted the rest of the package to someone who claimed to taste cherry but didn't mind it as much.

Worst purchase ever
I love all things birthday cake and was so excited to try this product. Do not buy this, it is the grossest tasting drink ever. It made me gag to even try and drink it..the flavor is not there, the taste is not there. I am extremely disappointed I paid this much for something so nasty tasting. If this was on clearance for $2 it would still not even be worth buying. Worst purchase and waste of money. My bag is headed into the garbage, I don't even think it's worth giving away the taste is so bad. If I could rate it lower I would.

An unexpected new favorite!
Omg I love it. As someone who usually avoids "birthday cake" flavored things, I was shocked to love this one so much that I ordered 2 more right away. To me, it doesn't taste like birthday cake. It's gently sweet and comforting, and reminds me of David's Tea "Forever Nuts", but so much better! This blend is great hot or cold, and the color is stunning! This one also pairs beautifully iced with the matcha coconut!

Doesn't taste like birthday cake
I'm not sure what birthday other people had growing up, but this was not at all what I expected. It smells delicious, but I expected it to taste primarily like a sweet french vanilla sort if flavor like most birthday cake flavored things are. Instead it tastes like a blend of artificial fruit flavors. Maybe it's the beets, but something in there is just not working for me. I tried it on it's own and hiding it in coffee and it's drinkable, but not enjoyable.

Worth the Try!
New to Blume drinks and this is the first (and so far only) one I've tried so far. It's really yummy and soothing! Will probably be buying a second bag since it's limited edition. My thing is, I would love to have all different flavours. Smaller sizes in taster bundles would be really cool! I'll try the other flavours eventually though. I'm not how legit the claims are, but I love having an interesting and tasty drink since having to give up caffeine.

My first experience with Blume - Birthday Cake
Received the Birthday Cake Latte mix in the mail today. Mixed with Vanilla Oat milk, a tad of sugar (a tad like a smidge a pinch) and a little bit of real maple syrup. Its okay, but not spectactular. I will make it daily instead of coffee till I am done the package. The price point is very high. When you add in shipping, whoa. My next package will be purchased from Chapters Indigo in a different flavour.
