essential for moisturizing healing wounds
I've used this to keep wounds moisturized and protected, which is the medically accepted way for healing wounds today. As opposed to the extremely occlusive petroleum jelly that traps debris and basically just forms a hydrophobic waterlogged layer, this moisturizes your skin as it heals, absorbs and diffuses exudate, and can be applied while your skin is still wet after sanitizing or showering. I like to "mix" it together with a small amount of antibiotic cream to replace the use of a bandage.
A NOTE: in cold temperatures, small hard sand-like granules will form in the ointment, these are just small harmless bits of crystallized bees wax and will melt quickly on warm hands, nothing is wrong.

Disappointing change
I’ve been using the multipurpose ointment for the last 4+ years with both of my kids and absolutely loved it! I recently purchased a replacement and noticed it was new packaging but hoped that was all. I was so disappointed when I opened it and could tell it was not the same formula at all! The smell is awful and the consistency is not the same. It was always fantastic for any skin issues we were having but this one just does not work the same. Very disappointed by this change and likely will not purchase anymore unless the formula is changed back.

Great for dermititis/eczema/etc Highly recommend!
I bought this a month ago due to a combination of rosacea/eczema and both perioral and seborrheic dermititis on my face. I had used harsh products on my face and ruined my skin barrier. Everything I tried to use after to calm it down was making my skin worse. Small, red, painful bumps, redness, and dry patches. Dermititis is very tricky, and even my dermatologist didnt know what to do. I wanted to find a product for the dryness on my face, that was completely natural and safe for extremely sensative and irritated skin. I started using this at night on my face and have had NO reaction (which is a miracle for my skin). It is SO moisturizing on my problematic skin, and doesn't flare up my dermititis (unlike the other 10 things I tried). I had previously tried hundred plus dollar creams with no luck, yet this affordable product is actually saving me. Those who think this is "expensive" have NO idea what most face creams cost. I highly recommend. Personally, I love the scent.

Diaper rash be gone!
Since using this product our babe hasn’t had diaper rash and it’s been about two months. Also we’re not even halfway through the jar! A little bit goes a long way! Smells wonderful and I feel as bad coating his bottom with this cream in comparison to other diaper rash creams.

LOVE IT!!!!
This stuff is amazing!!!! I will never use anything else on my daughters bottom from now on. We always apply it before her bedtime diaper, and after every bath, and the skin on her bottom is super, super soft, and smooth, and no diaper rash!! I love the sweet honey smell, and the texture although thickish, is not sticky, or greasy like other products we have used in the past. I cannot recommend this enough!! LOVE IT!!! I even use it myself.

PleaE bring back the old formula
I new formula is horrible!
With the old forumla my baby never had a single rash, now she is so dry, that I am going to have to switch to a different brand. It also doesn’t smell nearly as good. Please bring back the old formula.

10 Star Ointment
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) If I could, I will give this product 10 stars. I did a lot of research before buying the first diaper cream for my newborn. After reading lots of reviews I decided to go with this Ointment and it has been great. My baby's skin is soft, it doesn't have that white stain that most of diaper creams so its always clear and I can see if there is something wrong. This ointment is so good that I also use it on my baby's neck and arm pits when they get a little bit irritated. The skin near her eyes also gets dry a little bit. I put this cream and it looks different just after a couple of minutes. I also use it for my hands when I feel them too dry. Is the best multipurpose cream I had try so far.
