Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible smell! I bought this product today for my daughter (have liked all the Burt’s Bees products purchased previously). When she opened it, she said it must have gone bad as the smell was so awful. I thought she was exaggerating but no...it is REALLY bad. It doesn’t smell at all like Shea. It smells medicinal and off. To call it Shea butter is misleading. It’s so bad, I can’t use it (and I don’t normally waste something I’ve bought but it just can’t be used). Really disappointed. Wish I could get my money back. BTW, I am in my 50’s and this is the first negative review I’ve been compelled to write. Would love to hear back from the company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected from the cream in a tube Very very thick consistency. I need apply a lot of pressure and all my strength to get the cream from the tube. If it’s kind of the ointment for working hands, I would expect it to be sold in jars of some sort. Highly recommend, really. The smell is too strange, so I have had to check the expiry date I am not able to find, which is strange. I think that 99% natural products should have an expiry date. After reading the reviews I got that it’s “normal”. Before that I planned to return it to the store. I wish I bought the lavender one. It is the best, I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm very upset so see all these bad reviews about this cream because I absolutely love it and actually don't mind the smell at all I kind of find it suiting and love how thick it is. I agree it does absorb very quickly and leave my hands feeling very smooth. One of the best ones I've tried so far for sure since my hands are often in a water and sanitizer at work and get very damaged. Like what do people expect it's pretty much 100% natural cream I think it's a good thing that's it's this thick and smells this way..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible smell! I bought this couple of days ago , I just opened it and squeezed it so hardly. At the first time, I saw clean water or oil coming out and squeezed it harder. Finally, there came creams. However, the smell was awful, it seems like chemical, plastic smell to me. I don't recommend it definitely.

However, this cream has a chemical odour which lingers after being applied on the skin for long time. Definitely, very disappointed with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My hands are happy! I always have a hard time finding a hand creme that works, but is not too heavily scented. This one is perfect. I love the lavender and it isn’t greasy and absorbs fairly quickly. A little goes a long way. The only negative for me was the container. It is quite difficult to squeeze and the bottom has sharp edges. Otherwise, I would have given it 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for dry and cracking hands I've tried a lot of hand creams including several prescribed for eczema and this is one of my favorites. Some people don't like the smell; when I first smelled this cream it reminded me of wild grasses in Maine woods
