I love this pancake mix and was surprised by the negative reviews here. True - it does not have a lot of flavour akin to a normal pancake mix but I would prefer to have it this way and not have a stomach ache after eating it. Besides, it gives me more control to the mixture as I can always add bananas, lactose free chocolate bits, or even blueberries depending on the season. I am actually ordering two more bags as I have finished the one I have this morning which I found on the sale bin at Winners. I bought it to try but now, it will have a regular place in my pantry.

My favourite waffle mix
I like my waffles to be crispy and a bit tender, and I can get exactly that with this mix. I usually make my own,but for this unusual period, I bought this one and I'm so glad I did it!. I tried one for pancakes,but I prefer the texture of my own mix. But for my waffles is awesome!. The flavour is neutral, which is exactly what I like, no earthy flavour, no added sugar, just plain so I can play with it. Overall, I really like it!.

purchased several times but not the best FYI
I bought these with the intent to make GF and DF waffles. I have used every dairy alternative there is and they do NOT turn out unless you use 2% dairy milk or more. Pancakes isnt too bad...... But I see the "new" package design has removed the 'waffle' label. FYI it's easy and quick but not much flavor and definitely do NOT use for waffles unless you are using dairy milk.

This mix makes great pancakes. The batter ends up being less fluffy than other mixes which I personally preferred, and they are super fast and simple to whip up! Have ordered it a few times now. The gluten free mix can also be used for general baking!

Great for waffles
I love this mix for waffles! I just add 1 tsp baking powder, and they rise beautifully.
