Our ‘for everything’ remedy!
Our family has been using this product since the 1960s! Have a cold? under the nose & on the chest then some in the top of the humidifier! Have a headache? On the temples. Sinuses plugged? Under the nose and down the sides of it. Have a burn? Yup, put it on that. Have dry cracked feet? Rub this in and put on socks! Hands dry & cracking from cold weather? Rub into hands at bedtime & wake up with soft, healed hands! My dad even used it on the farm animals! It’s the only medicated menthol ointment in my medicine cabinet!

Multigenerational product
The first time I remember having medicated ointment used was when I was about three years old with my great grandmother. That was 55 years ago and I can tell you I’ve used it through my whole life with my children and now with my grandchildren. When a child who is two years old asks for medicated ointment because they’re coughing you know it works! All of my grandchildren know where it is and will ask for it by name. I didn’t realize there was also other products that Watkins made for colds I can only imagine it will be as good as a medicated ointment so I made sure all of my children had a tub of medicated ointment and some of the new products I hadn’t seen before. I Would strongly recommend this for any family.

This is the best pain relieving ointment I've ever tried. I've tried many others, including the Voltaren Emulgel in extra strength, & none come even close to being as effective. I experience almost immediate relief & significant improvement (almost 90%+) after a few hours. Was so sad to see it sold out just when I need to purchase more. Highly recommend.

Helps with Aches and Pains
I ordered this for my father because I could not find it on the Watkins site. I had gone everywhere else and found it was very expensive. This site provided the ointment at the price I would have paid if it were on the Watkins site. My father uses it for joint pain in the knees and finds it's the only one that helps to soothe. He finds it isn't too strong smelling and easy to apply.

Always Close at Hand
Medicated sauve (as we call it) has been in my family since I was a little girl 68 years ago. My mother used it on everyone. This is a medicated ointment you can even use on a baby, it will not burn like other medicated ointments. Smeared on chests, behind ears for colds, on temples for headaches, on chaffed hands, elbows, feet and I was told years ago by my late Grandfather he fed it to his horse when he got a cold. Medicated Ointment has been handed down through ALL generations of my family and I'm positive it will continue. I ordered and received four (4) to make sure I have my own, a spare and each daughter have one. When their cans get low, it's "Mum, my can is almost empty". They both have Wells email for the future. Thank you.

Used in our family for the last five generations.
Used in our family for the last five generations. When I was a small child my great grandmother always had a tub of medicated ointment by the bed. It was used then by my grandmother and my mother and now I’m a grandmother and I’m using it on my grandchildren! It’s a trusted product to stop a cough even the most persistent cough. My grandchildren look forward to having it put on their chest and back when they’re sick and actually even ask for it now by name. This is a product I don’t think any home should be without!

Arrived fast, exactly what I needed
This is one of those silent but loved products. If you know you know. I use this as a lip balm and under my nose when I am stuffed up due to allergies or illness.
This is a similar product to Vick's vapour rub, but has a more neutral and piercing tone that you really can't get anywhere else. Imagine the black flavour of Dentyne Ice, when compared to Blue Dentyne Ice. That's what this product is.

I have been keeping my eye on this item for quite some time as they run out so fast. I just love this when I get tight muscles, it relieves my back pain and the smell is heavenly its not too strong and there's something about the scent that relaxes me.
