I came across a vintage Q-tip package that my grandmother had in her dresser. Can you believe they used to come on wooden sticks and had twice the amount of cotton on the swab. It's amazing how much better made these were in the past. HEY Q-TIP people go back to the old ways those wooden q-tips with an abundance of cotton on the end are the best cleaning q-tips ever. OH and bonus they don't bend! They sure don't make things like they used to.

Until recently I was given by a friend a pack of like 100 made by some generic/dollar store. OMG, then I notice a difference. Some of the cheapo ones are basically still sticks with a TINY bit of cotton around it, so they're not cushy at all and could do some damage b/c they're basically just pokey bits. The Q-Tip brand ones are so round and cushy and dependable to all be uniform. They get a lot of work done and can be used for so many things. So as a general rule don't cheap out and stick to these ones.

They are the best cotton swabs in the market in my opinion...very high quality and made of 100% pure cotton. I feel totally confident using Q-tips cotton swabs to clean my ears and minor wounds because they are so soft and gentle. Q-tips are also great for detailed cleaning. I often use them to clean tiny spaces and delicate objects (e.g., keyboards, vents, blinds, electronics, plastic scale models, tracks, grooves, window sills, etc). They do a great job of removing dust, grease, and grime. Q-tips will always have a place in my home.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) There's a reason why most people call this product by their brand name 'Q-tips', not 'cotton swabs' - because Q-tips are the best! You may have to pay a little bit more for them, but for a product that's inexpensive to begin with, it's not one worth cheaping out on. I find a typical box will last me an average of 2 years, so there's no doubt in my mind that original Q-tips are the way to go. Other brands may work fine for some things, but their cotton density & fluff factor doesn't work out as well for things like precision make-up or nail polish touch-ups.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Don't bother with no-name or copy cat products. Q-tips Cotton Swabs is the only cotton swabs that I'll purchase. The tip has more cotton, which makes it more effective for a variety of uses: make-up application, manicures, and cleaning. I especially like using it to clean around small areas that my hands can't reach. The full cotton tip absorbs well and (more importantly) the plastic tip won't hurt you (ie. make-up application) because of the amount of cotton wrapped around it. I once got scratched around the eye when I used a no name cotton swab because there wasn't enough cotton around the tip and the plastic poked through it.

When I think of cleaning my ears, I think of Q-tips, when I think of applying cream, removing eyeliner, cleaning nail polishes and the list goes on, I think of Q-tips. It is such a versatile tool that I don't know much more I could say about Q-Tips. I actually would only buy Q-tips brand for cotton swabs. All others does not compare in the quality and the cotton doesn't stick or too little of the cotton. It does the best job at cleaning the inside of my ears and removing eyeliner.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Last year, on seeing the price of Q tips, I decided to go with the dollar store choice, because I thought how different can a cotton swab be? Well, as it turns out, there was a huge difference. The dollar store variety had far less cotton firstly. Also, the strength of the wand was significantly weaker, and bent quite easily , especially if using it for ear care. I had to laugh at myself...a box will last a year probably, and I was trying to save a few dollars. Overthinking I guess. I did buy Q tips and use the cheaply kind for manicure mistakes, etc...but Q tips will be my brand for the future...even if does cost an extra .000006 cents per use...lol.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using the qtips brand for years now, since forever i remember from childhood. They come in a nice packaging easy to take out the qtips. Its very soft and gentle to be used to clean the ears effectively. Never hurts or pokes my delicate ear skin. I also use qtips for my manicures, pedicures to remove the excess nailpolish. I use them for my makeup, esp to clean up messes and for my eyeshadow when i dont hace any applicators or brushes with me. Its a multifunctional product with a great price! Always recommend it !
