Rexall Bisacodyl 5mg

For the relief of occasional constipation.

Directions: Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 to 3 tablets at bedtime or before breakfast, as needed. Do not take more than 3 tablets in 24 hours. Do not chew tablets. Do not take with milk or antacid. It may take 6 to 12 hours to have a bowel movement.

Active Ingredient: Bisacodyl USP 5 mg

Inactive Ingredients: Acacia, anhydrous calcium sulfate, anhydrous lactose, carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, D&C Yellow #10 aluminum lake, FD&C Yellow #6 aluminum lake, gelatin, iron oxide, iron oxide black, iron oxide yellow (iron oxide ochre), magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol (peg) 400, polyvinyl acetate, phthalate, povidone, shellac, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, sugar, talc, titanium dioxide.

Caution: Do not use: if you have abdominal pain; nausea; fever; vomiting; appendicitis; blocked intestine; inflamed bowel; or severe dehydration or within 2 hours of other medicines. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. When using this product: it may cause mild cramps, stomach discomfort (etc.); do not take for more than 7 days, unless directed by a doctor. Use over a long period of time may cause dependence for bowel function. Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away. Quick medical attention is critical even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
