We bought this backpack thinking it would be Made in Canada and durable. The "reinforced bottom" is a clear plastic sewn overtop of the exterior that appears as if it will crack or tear easily. The product itself is made in China. So many other products out there of better quality. Cannot recommend this one. We returned it.

So cute, but a disappointment
Almost immediately, one shoulder strap began to come apart from the top of the bag. By December (started using mid Sept) it's ripped off. My kid is six years old and takes a lunch to school only - this has not been heavily used with large books - or washed. Big letdown considering the cost/Canadian company.
