When I saw that Swell had this product available I was thrilled. The idea is great however I was extremely disappointed when I got the lid and it is only "splash" proof which means if you tip it on its side it leaks a lot. I like to pack a bottle of water to gym but now I must make sure it is right side up at all times.

Handy revision to S’well bottle
I’ve swapped out the lids on each family member’s s’well bottle with these now. We haven’t had leak issues aside from not double checking that the lid is flipped closed, and it was open in the bag. The lid looks and feels the same open and closed, aside from a blue stripe that indicates it’s open. Not ideal. But it’s better than the other lids, which are easy to lose, and it is handy to be able to open an close this lid more quickly.

Love this product! I was so excited when I saw this come up, it works awesome for when you're exercising. You just have to make sure it doesn't fall over because it's not leak proof.

IâÂÂm super disappointed with the sports cap. Why it has to leak when the bottle is tilted to the side boggles my mind. You might as well have no lid on at all.

These are the best!
I have 3 of these now and they all work perfectly, I’ve never had issues with any of them and definitely no leaks. I would 100% recommend these.

Love this cap! Keeps the water cold like the original cap and is much more easily accessible. I havenâÂÂt had a problem with it spilling, as long as itâÂÂs closed properly. Would definitely recommend to any sâÂÂwell bottle owner!

Unfortunately Leaks
I was pumped for this sports cap but it leaks every time you take a drink. It’s not the mouth spout but where the seal. I have it as tight as possible and it still trickles down the bottle with every sip
