Director of Business Development and Strategy

Job Description:

Well.ca is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Director of Business Development who will work directly with the CEO and CMO on key strategic projects which span both the Well.ca and McKesson organizations. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is ready to take on any challenge and is excited by continuing to push the boundaries creating the most phenomenal customer experience in Canada as it relates to health and wellness!

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with business leaders to develop and define the strategic priorities of the business
• Evaluate and execute new products and services that complement the growth plans across both Well.ca and McKesson Canada
• Identify new revenue-generation opportunities that enhance and promote Well.ca, as well as leveraging the assets and capabilities of McKesson
• Actively manage key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
• Provide overall project management for key priorities across the organization

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a related position
• Management consulting experience considered an asset
• Must have University degree (business or engineering degree considered an asset)
• Sound business judgment, financial acumen and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Sound strategy to maintain and grow existing business
• Strong team player, with effective written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals in a wide variety of functional areas and levels of management
• Talent for establishing and fostering partnerships and networks
• Project management skills
• Excitement about the health and wellness space and helping Canadians live happier and healthier lives!
