    Digital Designer - 3 Month Contract

    Job Description:

    The Digital Designer position requires someone who strives for continuous improvement, efficiency and detail driven perfection. This role is a hands-on role for individuals with a great sense of typography, knowledge of the Adobe Suite and a good understanding of HTML/CSS coding. The Digital Designer is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of a variety of projects focused on but not limited to web, email, e-commerce, social media, digital advertising, banners and landing pages. The designer must be able to react quickly, multitask, and manage his or her own deadlines. They will be responsible for workflow management among stakeholders, marketing and the design team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design banner ads for digital acquisition across a variety of platforms.
    • Create graphics, design layouts for email, as well as the HTML/CSS coding of email.
    • Occasional designs for formats such as print, video and PPT documents.
    • Design & Manage visual assets for all marketing campaigns online as well as offline.
    • Work within established brand guidelines, standards and timelines to create creative collateral related to digital strategies and tactics.
    • Manage production of creative projects from concept to completion.
    • Use Google analytics, testing tools to make data driven decisions for layouts and design.
    • Work within pre-formatted email templates as well as designing new templates to create efficiencies wherever possible.
    • Create and manage workflow processes to ensure an efficient workflow between project stakeholders and the design team.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a digital design role
    • HTML5, CSS and experience using Bootstrap
    • Well-versed in Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
    • Experience in photography and video a plus
    • Knowledge of UI\UX Design and best practices
    • Knowledge of designing and best practices for mobile
    • Ability to meet deadlines, work effectively and can adapt to change easily in a fast paced work environment
    • Extremely self-motivated and independent learner and worker
