On the other end of the spectrum, Liquid Mettle is 23 Degrees' darkest roast that produces a deep-flavoured, heavily-bodied coffee, yet one that still retains its fine flavours of earthy tones, fruitiness and hints of cocoa. 23 Degrees needed a name that matched its intensity, and William Shakespeare was their inspiration, with his fanciful play on the word “mettle”. Ironically, because it is their darkest roast, it has less caffeine than 23 Degrees' other blends, but leaves a lasting impression on your tongue.
23 Degrees Roastery uses Arabica coffee beans that are certified Organic and Fair Trade.
