My cat loves this stuff! With other litter she digs and digs and makes all kind of racket. With this, she's in and out in no time at all!
My cats are not very happy with this product. My one decided to dirty on the floor rather than use this product. Won't use it again.
My cats hate the stuff. Horrible smell that smells up the kitchen. The cats won't even get close to the litter
I've been using this product for about 2 years now for my 2 cats and it's perfect for such a "multi-cat" household. The only things needed to be remembered are that it needs to be cleaned and topped up frequently, but preferably when the clumps have had time to solidify, and the box needs to be washed and changed out with fresh litter at least once a month. With a single cat it may not be as much an issue and may be pushed to once every other month. For odour control it's great, just the waste can smell pretty bad when compiling it in a diaper pail until it gets full enough to toss int he garbage, and if sifted properly as cleaned, the solid waste can be flushed.
Love this litter! Easy to clean ('cause it's light), clumps well. It's safer than clay for cat's digestive system if they get some stuck between their toes and need to clean it out. Also, It's really good for cats with sensitivities to dust and/or perfume. My cat was getting runny eyes for a previous litter. Since I changed to this, her eyes have cleared up. I tried a few others, but this one has really been the best in ways of smell, clumping and cat's health.
It can smell strongly of baking soda after the cat uses it, but usually only when it needs to be cleaned.
I guess it really depends on your cat...but mine doesn't seem to be bothered by whatever litter I give him...but I love this one b/c not only is it considerably lighter than clay...I love its fresh smell!
I liked the idea this was natural.. I was concerned that she may not accept her new litter after 17 years of clay/stone. .. I mixed in a little at a time with her old existing clay stuff until it was about half & half.. and then we took it from there. She didnt seem to mind the change. The smell is strong out of the bag, not a bad smell, but strong, and a bit too chemically for me so there was some concern there.. I havent noticed that her box smells less.. to me its the same, or maybe even a bit more smelly.. still, Im sure its better for her than the clay stuff. I also dont see it all over my carpets as much as I used to see the stone.. overall, great product, lightweight, easy to scoop.. but a bit expensive.
My cat is not to keen on this litter but I love the fact it does not track all over or fly out of the litter box when she buries her feces.
My cat enjoys the clay, as I tried the pine litter my cat was confused or angered heheh (he's five) and pooped on the tile floor and the carpet. I put the poo in the pine litter repeatedly to no avail. I'll
This is our favourite cat litter. We used a popular grocery store brand that is corn based but our store couldn't keep it in stock. I looked for alternatives and ended up preferring this over the other one. It has a light, pleasant scent and compared to clay, it is so much easier to scoop and it is so much lighter. There is much less dust as well.
When you open the bag.. it smell really good but when the cat pee a bad smell come out of the litter box.
This is the best litter I have ever used! I have tried several litters over the years, trying to find what works best for my cat, and me. This one is lighter than other clumping litters. It controls smell, and there is no dust. It is softer on the paws, and I have no tracking issues. I cannot say enough about this product.
Now, if only Well.Ca would get more stock.
