atoma Dry Cough Relief Extra Strength Sucrose Free

For temporary relief of dry cough due to colds.

Directions for use: Adults and Children (12 years and over) take 10 mL every 6 to 8 hours.  Do not take more than 40 mL in 24 hours.

Active Ingredients: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 30 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: citric acid, D&C red #33, FD&C red #40, flavour, glycerin, polyethylene glycol 600, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate, *sodium cyclamate, *sorbitol solution (*added as sweeteners)

Caution: Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson’s disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug, with other drugs containing dextromethorphan, if you are allergic to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient in this product.  Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema, cough with excessive phlegm (mucus), difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. These could be signs of a serious condition. Are pregnant or breast-feeding Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last for more than 1 week, fever, rash, or persistent headaches develop.  Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or a healthcare professional immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
