Directions: Adults and children 2 years of age and older: apply to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times daily.

Perfect for dry itchy winter skin

I often get extreme dry patches all over my body. Especially in the winter! I just can't stop itching when this happens! After I applied the aveeno skin therapy itch balm I experienced results pretty much instantly! It immediately relieved the itch and soothed my irritation. I also really like the packaging. It's kind of like an aluminum hand cream tube that you squeeze and it allows for very little left over product. Overall I really like this balm and I will be repurchasing once I run out.

I've been using this itch relief balm on this dry patch that has shown up on my right hand. The patch is very dry, red, and itchy. The balm gets absorbed into the skin well and it seems to really moisturize the area. The patch doesn't seem to feel as tight after using this balm. I will continue to use this product in the hopes this dry patch will disappear completely. I really appreciate that it doesn't contain parabens, phthalates, fragrance, or steroids. If you have dry itchy skin, then give this product a try.

Aveeno Restorative for dry skin
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy is a moisturizer for very dry dehydrated skin.
I have dry and sensitive skin especially in winter time. After applying this moisturizer I can see how my skin is soft and healthy . Its light texture is absorbed quickly and leaves behind a velvety finish with no smell. It is free of fragrance and even can be used for children 2 years of age.
I absolutely love this moisturizer and I would highly recommend to try this cream who has dry flakey and sensitive skin.

Great for mildly itchy skin

Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy itch relief balm is a gentle cream for dry, sensitive skin. It also contains some natural ingredients like oat and aloe to help relieve itchy skin. I love this product is fragrance free and doesn't have anything harsh like parabens, steroids or phthalates. I feel good using it on my skin and it does provide some relief if I have a bit of an itch. Having suffered from eczema in the past and having a child who has some mild eczema I do use it and feel confident that it is a gentle and steroid free way to deal with mild itchy skin.

Perfect consistency for me

It isn't too thick like a butter lotion or too runny like some other brands. It absorbs quite quickly which is a plus. I like using this in the winter time when my skin is extra dry. The only thing I think could be improved on is the design of the package. I'm not a fan of the tiny lid that you need to twist on/off and would much prefer a snap on lid or just something easier to handle.

Instant, soothing relief for dry itchy skin

I have dry, itchy sensitive skin and was delighted to use Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Itch Relief Balm. It is a soothing cream that applies easily without stickiness. It has a very faint and pleasant natural scent. It was absorbed quickly into my skin and did not feel greasy in any way. My hands, arms and neck felt soothed and moisturized for hours. I love that it contains prebiotic oats, aloe and vitamin B5 and that it doesn't contain any phthalates, parabens or fragrance. I would highly recommend this itch relief balm to anyone who experiences dry, itchy and sensitive skin like I do!

Good for sensitive, dry, itchy skin

Product comes in a large metal squeeze tube and not sure if it's just mine, but the tube opening was quite sharp. For people buying this product, they would supposedly have irritated skin and the tube opening could easily hurt or cut someone's hand.
The cream is unscented, which is to be expected, and has similar consistencies as other unscented products like a creamy petroleum jelly.
For me, it goes on thick but the moisturizing component could be better. I thought it would be an intense moisturizer but it leaves a sticky film on the skin. The main thing is that it works for itchy skin.

Great for itchy dry skin!

Aveeno itch relief balm is a fragrance Free balm that comforts dry sensitive skin. I live in a cold, dry area so in the winter my hands, especially the inner corners of my fingers get extremely dry and itchy and start to peel. I used this product product about a week, and im impressed at how well it worked. The texture was great and didn't leave a greasy feeling at all. It quickly took the itch away but I did find that sometimes I would need to reapply within the hour or so. It wasn't too bad though, because at least I felt relief. Overall, I would recommend to others who may have dry itchy skin and need relief.
