Try Benylin for relief of yucky cough and cold symptoms. This syrup is free of sucrose and alcohol!
RELIEVES:
- Dry hacking cough
- Irritated throat
Directions: Adults (12 years and over) take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6-8 hours. Maximum of 8 teaspoons (40 mL) per day. (Not recommended for children under 12 years.)
CAUTION: Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have asthma, chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, persistent/chronic cough, or are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking a drug for depression, including monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor drugs. Check with a doctor if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or tends to recur or if you also have excessive secretions or fever. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.

Useless product
Bought this to help me sleep during a cold where a dry cough made me wake up frequently at night. Not only did it not suppress my cough, but it had a stimulating effect that kept me from falling asleep. Complete waste of money.

No relief.
Tried this for a nasty dry cough that's been keeping me up at night. Used as directed and the syrup coated my throat for maybe 10-15mins and the cough came right back, just as intense. Sadly feel like I've wasted my money.
