Rated 5 out of 5 by from After taking the advice posted on other shampoo bar reviews I would like to revise my comment, using a regular old vinegar and water rinse, not even a more refined apple cider rinse, my hair was easy to comb and perfectly lovely. The vinegar rinse made all the difference and for first time users this rinse should be added to the directions for use. Without the vinegar rinse I could not get a comb through my hair. I can recommend this product now. I am happy that I did more research.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scent sensitive? Beware! Super smelly essential oils not listed! If scent sensitive, DO NOT BUY. Compare my picture to the ingredients listed. Juniper Oil and Eucalyptus oil. Both Well.ca and Buck Naked have been contacted, good customer service, but ingredients have not been updated on either site.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i am quite surprised with some of the bad reviews. I bought this shampoo bar a while a go, when living in Canada. I do notr remember any issue with it in any moment from beginning til end. It was my first try with solid shampoo and i think it was quite satisfactory. I am not using liquid shampoo and their plastic bottles ever again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for body I find this stuff is amazing for dry skin. Has very little scent and leaves skin very soft. It lathers really really well! but I find it's a little too heavy for use as a hair shampoo - one day i can get away with it but if I wash 2 days in a row my hair is so heavy and feels unwashed. (Long hair) so unfortunately I cannot use this specific type for my hair. But it works fine for my husband and son (short hair)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work This shampoo bar does not work on my thick hair and oily scalp. The first use went reasonably but it felt a bit sticky when rinsing and it made my hair extremely difficult to brush after. Subsequent uses made my hair feel more sticky and unclean in the shower even though I thoroughly rinsed my hair for over a minute. After it dried, my hair still felt sticky and it was hard to run my hands through. It was easier to brush my hair dry but it covered my hairbrush in a gross, gunky, sticky residue that I could not fully clean off. Using an apple cider vinegar rinse at the end of my fourth shower with this bar helped my hair feel softer and less sticky but there was still some residue that got transferred to my hairbrush. I really wanted this bar to work but it seems like my hair doesn't agree with it and if it doesn't work with another apple cider vinegar rinse, I won't continue using it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wanted to like this, but couldn't I really wanted to like this shampoo bar because I have loved the other soap bars from buck naked. I gave the shampoo bar a lot of chances, but it just didn't work for me. I have fine, medium length hair- pretty easy to care for, and I already wash every 3 ish days. After washing with this bar, my felt both dry and greasy??

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was really looking forward to trying this to reduce my waste since it has no palm oil and is much more economical than most shampoo bars, but after one use I'm very disappointed. The bar is in some sort of waxy paper packaging and I could not find information on how to dispose of it, then to make matters worse, when I opened it up to try today I realised the label wrapped around the soap is not paper, but plastic. :( It did seem to do alright with my hair, though I think I used more than I should have so that might be why. It made my hair feel slightly stringy. The part that I really disliked is it irritated my skin and it has a bizarrely strong smell for soap with no added fragrance; no idea what from. So I will be running back to my old natural shampoo in a plastic bottle--at least those can be recycled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bar shampoo is a reasonable price, compared to some others. It provides a decent lather compared to some other bars (not at good as traditional bottle shampoos), and if you give it a good rinse, there is no residue. I am also left with a bit of texture while still feeling clean. The bar is large and should last quite a while.
