Let me preface this by saying I am a huge Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm (original plain version) fan. It is the only lip balm I use and I have been using it for years. That being said, I really do not like the Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter. I find it sits on the surface rather than soaking in and it is not pleasant to use. I do not find this lip balm to be moisturizing at all. It came in a variety pack so I thought I would go ahead and give it a try, however I will not be re-purchasing. I will be sticking with my all time favourite, the original Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm.

Landed me at the doctor
I bought this balm about a month ago. Shortly after I started having problems with horrible chapped lips, redness and flaking of my lips. I've never had any of these issues before. I didnt put two and two together, and continued using the balm to ease my lips. Over the weeks its continued to get worse and my lips were horribly uncomfortable. I ended up at the doctor today and was prescribed a steroid cream.
My boyfriend asked if I started using any new products, and that's when I finally realized it that this chap stick was CAUSING my chapped lips. Upon reading the reviews, I see many others have had this same experince.
This product should be discontinued immediately.

Very disappointing
I received this chapstick in a gift set of Burt’s bees products, as I love your products. This lip balm however is likely one of the worst balms I have ever tried. It’s extremely oily and yet it dries out within minutes and needs constant reapplication. It doesn’t soothe my chapped lips and I find it actually irritates them and manages to make them feel more dry. I love your original beeswax balms, they are one of my favourite all natural lip balms, however I strongly dislike this one and am quite disappointed in it.

Amazing!
Bought this one day when I was desperate for hydration and relief. You know, one of those winter days where your lips are gross, dry, flaking and burning .
I'd tried all sorts of drugstore chapsticks... Anyways I put this on and I swear it was magic! My lips are 95% healed the following day.
To all the people who say this is to oily and does not absorb... Well it is oily if you put to much. I'd say use it at bed time if you really need healing. During the day one layer on the bottom lip is enough.
Thank you Burt's Bees for an amazing product at a great cost that actually works.

Dries out lips
I bought this product a week ago and it doesn't work as it's supposed to be. I've used burt bees products earlier but they work well.
However, this specific product doesn't keep upto even it's claims. It dries the chapped areas of lips even after applying 4-5 times a day.
I've used natural kokum from India and it's a good product however not working with this product. The lips just feel wet upto the point you apply it. After 30-40 minutes the chapped feeling vanishes and when I open my mouth the edges of the mouth feels like they're cracking.

pretty good!!
This chapstick was recommended to me by a friends because she really likes it. I gave it a shot and I really like it too. I do have to re apply pretty often, because it’s a thin formula but I don’t mind. I see a lot of people complaining about having to reapply but people have to realize, it absorbs so quickly because your lips need it. The bad chapsticks are the ones that just temporarily sit on the surface, but this one actually soaks in. I have other favourites but this is definitely a decent chapstick, all depending on the person.

Misleading Advertising
My Lips have been very dry during this very hot summer. After trying numerous lip balms without relief I tried pure vaseline (petroleum jelly). Nothing worked so I tried Burt's Bees and it almost killed my lips!!! Worst feeling of dryness ever. Lips felt like they were sunburnt and started stripping!!. Does not work for everybody.....be careful

Best lip balm ever. Hands down.
I have tried many lip balms through the years. Many years ago when I first tried Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm, I was thrilled at the deep conditioning of the formula. I have only used this product since I first tried it. I have tubes all over: in my purse, in drawers at home, in each car, etc. Please keep up the great work!
