This is by far the best hot chocolate mix from Camino. I used to not follow the recommendations on the box for dosage because I was afraid it would be too "chocolaty", but I've since then tried it and now I wouldn't drink it any other way. The chocolate milk becomes much thicker and richer. I highly recommend you try the dosage as indicated on the container even tough it means you'll go much faster through it!

I like the taste of this, but if you have a milk or soy allergy, beware that although the product information above does not say "may contain milk or soy", the ingredients on the package do say this. I purchased this rather than the Cocoa Camino Simply Dark hot chocolate (which product description does say that it may contain milk or soy) because it appeared to be safe for milk/soy allergies, and I didn't look at the ingredient list on the product itself before I had it for the first time. In my case it is not a severe allergy - my breastfeeding baby has an intolerance to milk and soy proteins, which is not a true allergy. Luckily he doesn't seem to have had any reaction.

Pros: Wonderful chocolate flavor without lots of sugar taste.
Cons: It's difficult to dissolve all of the bits, even with hot water. I find when I reach the bottom of the glass, there are still lots of undissolved bits there and also coating the sides. Maybe I'm doing it wrong and if so I'd like to know how others do it. I make a paste with a small amount of cream and the chocolate, then add hot water and stir.
