Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I was using another cleanser for years and thought I was happy. I decided to give this cleanser a try after reading some great reviews and I was surprised to notice a difference in my skin within the first few days of switching over. Further to that, I use my cleaners to clean my beauty sponge that I use to apply my foundation. With my previous cleanser I usually has some foundation squeezing out as I washed it but nothing dramatic. The first time I used this cleanser to wash my beauty sponge I was shocked at how much makeup was squeezing out! This led me to wonder just how well my previous cleanser had been working.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cerave Cleanser! I have tried almost all of the cerave cleansers. Before this, i was using the foaming one. This is much more gentler than that one and it actually feels like it cleans your skin and removes makeup. I like that is starts as a cream and ends up a foam. The foam is non-stripping. There is no fragrance, just smells like anything non-fragranced (a bit chemically).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An excellent economical facial cleanser I had heard good things about this cleanser being mild yet effective. Unfortunately, it seems like it frequently goes out of stock. I managed to snag one. I'm very impressed by this cleanser. It is very soft and produces a mild foam. I use it to remove my makeup and cleanse my face and have had no issues with leftover makeup. More importantly, it doesn't leave my face dry or tight. It is a very gentle facial cleanser. As someone who suffers from dehydrated skin, this is one of my favorite cleansers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way better than the hydrating cleanser This one is gentle and it actually removed my left over makeup!! I would struggle with the hydrating cleanser as it never removed my makeup even when there wasn’t much to remove (i double cleanse and use micellar water first)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed in lack of transparency I bought this a month ago. Initially I liked the product. My skin seemed softer and more radiant. However I recently noticed my skin is red and irritated. After reviewing the ingredients, I noticed it contains salicylic acid, a BHA acid which is harsh on sensitive skin. If this was disclosed as an active ingredient I never would have purchased this. I use Cerave moisturizer religiously and purchased this product trusting that it would be just as gentle on sensitive skin and it is not. I am extremely disappointed because I cannot return this product and I am worried it may take some time for my skin to recover.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I really liked the original foaming cleanser, but I found it was a little bit drying on the skin so I was excited to try the new cream-to-foam cleanser. I actually really liked this cleanser until I found out there was salicylic acid in it. I use Differin every night before bed and it's not meant to be used along with salicylic acid, so I have to stop using it. It's too bad because it doesn't even need to be in the product, it would be good without it. But now I've wasted money on something I can't use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle cleanser that effectively removes oil & makeup There are few inexpensive foaming cleansers that are truly non-drying and gentle while effectively removing oil & makeup. This cleanser does it all - foams easily and quickly and does not leave skin tight or dry. Priced reasonably too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden SA I bought this thinking it would be gentle on my skin. My skin barrier is currently broken, so I’m trying to be extremely gentle and not use any actives. I searched this up, DIDNT read through every single ingredient. I assumed cera ve would have said if there was salicylic acid… as they usually list all active ingredients. However, I used this for a few days, my skin kept burning and I couldn’t figure out why until I read more reviews and found out there’s SA in it. Quite unhappy!!
