All our ingredients are not only organic, but also food grade quality and are safe on chapped skin anywhere including nipples, cheeks, chins, hands, lips. None of Charlotte's Bum Butters contain any zinc oxide and are excellent to use with cloth diapers. They don't use any synthetic or GMO ingredients, mineral oil or preservatives and no water in the formula. The smell of the butter comes form the wonderful natural, raw and unrefined Cocoa, Shea and Coconut butters and essential oils that were all extracted through distillation or CO2 extraction and do not contain any traces of solvents or any other unwanted chemicals.
Their raw and unrefined butters and cold pressed extra virgin oils offer a long list of nutrients: proteins, vitamins and free fatty acids. These are excellent building blocks for fresh new healthy skin. That is the reason why this butter is wonderful on soothing eczema and helpring rebuild damaged skin.
