The Perfect Face Sunscreen by Consonant is unlike other 100% natural face sunscreens. This formula is lightweight and non-greasy but packed with skin-nourishing ingredients like: Aloe Leaf Extract to hydrate and soothe skin, Grape Seed Oil and Rice Bran Oil, which are rich in fatty acids to moisturize the skin and contain antioxidants to support in healthy aging. This mineral sunscreen is also slightly tinted with natural mica to help combat whitecasts typically seen in Zinc-based mineral sunscreens.
It delivers optimal SPF 30 protection using uniquely micronized (non-nano particle) Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide minerals to block the sun’s damaging UVA / UVB rays and is reef-safe.
Like all Consonant Skincare products, this product is fragrance free, containing no perfume or even essential oils which can play havoc with your skin, especially in the sun! This formula is water resistant, but it's recommended you re-apply sun protection after swimming or doing water sports.

Weird, overpriced product
I bought this sunscreen a month ago and the first time I tried applying it the pump literally didn’t work. I had to squeeze down the pump so many times for it to finally give me any product it was ridiculous. Also, the product has xanthan gum and some other questionable ingredients that felt very sticky and clogging to my pores. My skin was red after I applied the sunscreen and it doesn’t glide across the skin nice whatsoever. The product is very questionable, and left my face very broken out shortly after wearing the product for a few hours. Personally, I prefer Andalou Tinted Sunscreen as it’s also hypoallergenic, but way cheaper.

Horrible
This is the worst sunscreen I have ever used. I saw other reviews saying that it was quite sticky like a primer, and I thought that won’t bother me. Well it is so sticky I have to SCRUB it off my hands after applying it to my face. That was bearable though and if it was just that problem I would have used it up. What drove me crazy was that 75% of the time when I went to apply the sunscreen to my face the product would split on my hands and the tinted pigment would glue onto my skin while the rest of the ingredients would slip around. The product splitting like that makes me question if it even provides proper SPF protection. I threw it in the garbage.

Sticky.
I had tried a sample of this sunscreen a few years ago and remember it being matte on the finish and I had enjoyed the slight tint which evened out my skin tone. I recently purchased the full sized product and although the tinting (a light beige) was the same, it felt much stickier on my skin this time around. I get that it's a mineral sunscreen so I expect it to be a bit heavier than chemical sunscreens, but like some of the other reviewers have noted, it has a tacky finish. I've tried finishing with powder, but the combination of the sunscreen and powder prevents my skin from breathing at all and soon I'm sweating tiny little droplets all over my face. Not pleasant. I have bangs too so they constantly stick to my face when I have this product on. Also, if you have even the slightest bit of moisture on your skin before applying, the product will separate a bit and sit on top of your skin - it won't blend in. For the price I'm pretty disappointed.

This IS the best sunscreen!
Gone thru many bottles over 2-3 years now. Best applied after a thin layer of moisturizer or serum. Slightly tacky but not a dealbreaker. Gives a subtle sheen. The extremely subtle tint is to offset the mineral cast and it looks good on my fair (but note super fair) skin. I do use a different product on my neck to avoid contact w/ clothing. Please don't stop making this!

Weird texture that dries up my skin
I really want to like Consonant’s’ products more, but the texture feels strange and it makes my skin feel dry and sticky at the same time. There are many better tinted spf in the market and this one sadly is sitting on my shelf collecting dust after a couple uses.

One of my favorites
In an effort to wear sunscreen every day, I tested 5-6 sunscreens this year. This one has a beautiful tint that gives my skin a subtle glow. Also does not cause me to break out at all.
For reference, I have oily, acne prone skin with a light olive complexion.

Great natural sunscreen
I’m on my 3rd bottle of this. I never get a sunburn with this cream, and it evens out my complexion. Like most mineral sunscreens, it’s not as smooth an application as chemical sunscreens, but this doesn’t bother me too much.

Great facial sunscreen
This sunscreen blends in nicely, leaving a smooth finish. The colour is nice and neutral. Hasn't caused any issues for my skin (no breakouts). Will buy again!
