Don't waste your money.
Absolute garbage. This will not sharpen so as soon as it wears down once, it is done. Attempting to sharpen it turned my sharpener and everything near it into a gummed up sticky black mess and it never did sharpen enough to use again. I had to sharpen a graphite pencil in the sharpener to clean it out. Even resorted to trying a utility knife. Wouldn't sharpen, just turns to mush. Save your money. Oh, and the reason people don't realize that it isn't a twist type eyeliner and that you have to sharpen it is because the actual stick has an end cap that turns like the twist up eyeliners have.

Can't sharpen it
I bought this a month ago. The product itself is great, goes on very smooth and is very long lasting. However, when I tried to sharpen it today, it was a disaster! I was using a make up sharpener and the point just kept breaking. Very disappointing considering the actual product is great.

Will not advance or sharpen
I am on my second faulty eyeliner--will not advance the product or sharpen. All you get is a little tip of eyeliner. Waste of money--I have tried calling 2 times and left a call back number.

I have a lot of pencil sharpeners now!
I like the product, it does last but you can’t sharpen it. I have bought every kind of sharpener, from a low to high end makeup sharpener, a school sharpener, to a professional fine art sharpener. I’ve resorted to using a finepoint eyeliner brush to dig out what I can from the casing. I know you’re trying to save the trees but what good is a product that you can’t use. Use a twist up instead or even a pot since I have a brush to use for that now as well.

So I'm not the only one with sharpening issues
Initially, I loved this product. It's long lasting wear was better than the liquid liners I was using especially on my lower lids. Then came time to sharpen it. Impossible. I used 4 different make up sharpeners - none worked. It's now a dull, flat liner that scratches my skin if I try to use it. DISAPPOINTING!

Horrible
I bought this eyeliner it’s my favourite, stays on all day. But as soon as you sharpen it , it doesn’t sharpen AT all. It’s a total waste. It’s good till it needs sharpening. I’m not impressed at all very disappointed I hope covergirl comes up with a better idea for this eyeliner.

I agree with the other reviews that this is impossible to sharpen. You pay good money to get a tiny little bit of eyeliner, then throw it away because it is junk. I will go out tomorrow and buy another brand.

Give it a second chance! Long lasting/great price
I love how long this product lasts!!! I feel like ”finally” something that is worth buying đ¤đ
So I had exactly the same experience as others with the sharpening , etc. But bc I thought it was worth giving it another chance I googled to find out if I’m supposed to sharpen it. Thank you covergirl for your response to the sharpening issues. I’ll see how it all works out now đ. Small note: the turning end is misleading, maybe change that đ¤ My rating may go up as I use the product longer.
