Douglas Laboratories Seditol® Plus is a combination of Seditol®, containing Magnolia officinalis and Ziziphus spinosa, chamomile and lemon balm. Seditol® Plus also contains passion flower, which used in traditional Herbal Medicine as a sleep aid. In today’s society, lack of sleep is becoming more common and is linked to many changes in the body including increased stress and changes in appetite. Passion flower has been used in traditional type medicines for hundreds of years all over the world due to its sedative-like properties. Passion flower contains many plant constituents such as flavonoids, glycosides and alkaloids believed to be responsible for its beneficial effects on sleep by acting on receptors within the central nervous system.

Passion flower has been shown to help improve sleep quality in those with sleep disturbances. The main ingredients of Seditol®, Magnolia officinalis and Ziziphus spinosa, are also herbs used in traditional Herbal Medicine.
