Dr. Bronner's Organic Lotion For Hands and Body are certified to National Organic Standards. Dr. Bronner's lotions are based on pure organic oils free of petrochemically modified ingredients and preservatives. Organic jojoba oil moisturizes dry skin exceptionally well due to its unique similarity to the skin's natural oil. Organic grain alcohol (ethanol) is used as a natural preservative at a level that helps absorption without being drying. Only the finest organic essential oils are used for fragrance.

Horrible long lasting smell
I wasn't familiar with patchouli smell and tried to research it. But there's nothing like smelling it. God I used it once and I smell like an old man all day. I'll get rid of it because it's the most horrendous smelling lotion I've ever encountered. I like the texture and moisturizing effect though. But watch out. If you're not an old man, this is probably not the scent for you!
I was pushing my baby's stroller outside hours after using it and after washing my hands and could still smell it!

Not Good for Dry Hands
I bought this to alleviate dry hands due to winter air and persistent washing. It's not really doing the job. It would be fine as a light lotion for the body in the summer months, but it's not thick or moisturizing enough for truly dry skin. The scent is also surprisingly strong for a product of this type.
