Genestra Cod Liver Oil Forte is a vitamin rich cod liver oil formula.
Features:
Vitamin A is needed for the production of rhodopsin, a pigment found in rod cells that aids in low-light vision.
Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary for the proper development of retinal structure and visual acuity in infants as rods and cones in the eye require DHA for proper function. DHA is also essential to support pre- and postnatal brain development, as significant levels are present on neuronal synapses.
Vitamin D helps to support bone growth in children and maintain bone health in adults. Recent research indicates that 600 IU of vitamin D per day helps maximize bone health in adolescents and adults.

Took me two bottles to realize made from sunflower oil
Disappointed that well.ca did not properly list the ingredients. I blindly drank entire first bottle and bought a second and just noticed the first ingredient is sunflower oil which very high in omega 6, which is an inflammatory oil. I won’t be buying again. No wonder I saw no difference after the first bottle.

No fish taste
No fish taste. To me it’s a slight lemon and tinge of mint but it doesn’t make me feel like I’m eating medicine. Wish the price was cheaper but this is a good brand so I splurged. Under the twist cap is a plug rubber cap and i have to find a place to rest the oily rubber cap before I pour my serving.
