Love John Masters shampoo and was happy to find this new one! Works great for my irritable scalp (with some mild psoriasis that comes and goes) and leaves my hair clean and with body. No it doesn't lather up like shampoos that have the ingredients needed to do so (SLS and others) but keep in mind that the ingredients that give you tons of lather are EXTREMELY drying to both hair and scalp. Much prefer versions like this shampoo that clean well and leave hair and scalp healthy. Only disappointment is the price....

I need to use a lot of the shampoo to wash my hair because it's very hard to spread around the head. It has dried my hair and hasn't helped with regulating oily hair at all. On the second day, my scalp starts smelling funny, which has never happened to me. It's as if I would have to wash my hair everyday, I feel my hair gets so dirty so fast! I've never had such a bad experience with a shampoo.

Bought this shampoo to help with what appears postmenopausal hair issue? I never had oily hair (usually quite dry) but lately, it's becoming more greasy. This shampoo works wonderfully. The scent is fresh and I found for me, stimulating for the scalp. I would use this shampoo as a go between, meaning, I would use this every other hair wash. Hair type: Fine blonde highlighted hair.

If you experience dry scalp and/or dandruff I recommend trying this shampoo. I have noticed much relief in the itchiness and tightness that accompanies these conditions. I follow this shampoo with JM bare detangler and my hair is in the best shape its ever been in! FYI, it doesn't lather like a conventional shampoo, and thats ok!! You'll get used to it and your hair will thank you!

Not as stimulating as I had hoped, but great at cleaning hair. For those used to sls free shampoos, the tiny and scant bubbles should be no surprise. If you aren't used to natural and "free" shampoos, don't underestimate them cleaning power of this shampoo when you don't see/feel a lot of bubbles.

I always buy these shampoos for my mom as we can't find it in local stores. She has thin and thinning hair but this apparently helps a lot with it. She can feel the hair regaining strength and it's not irritating like some other hair growth/strengthening products. Only thing is it's really small for it's price but it's worth it :)
