Cautions: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use to exclude a diagnosis of prostate cancer; if you have diabetes, iron deficiency, liver, intestinal, or kidney disorder or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever; if you are taking medication including blood thinners or have a medical condition. Zinc supplementation can cause copper deficiency. Discontinue and consult a health care practitioner if you experience symptoms of hypoglycaemia including feelings or anxiety, dizziness, tremor, sweating, nausea, or headache. May cause diarrhea. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and/or confusion (as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar); and if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eye (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite. Hypersensitivity/allergy may occur; in which case, discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported in Canada and internationally.
