The harvesting method helps to retain its natural trace minerals, which are easily absorbed by the human body and provide many therapeutic benefits. The sea salt is collected after the marine phytoplankton has been harvested from the ocean water in the tanks. This water is then gently dried at a very low temperature to retain its minerals resulting in a perfectly sized salt crystals (no grinding necessary).
