Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a herb that is extensively used in Ayurveda, the traditional herbal system in India. Ashwagandha is used as a general tonic and "adaptogen" helping the body to temporarily manage normal stress. Research on this herb has shown an ability to lower the levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Adaptogens are also known to normalize mood and support energy level. In addition, prelimenary data suggest that Ashwagandha supports a healthy immune system. NOW Ashwagandha Liquid provides 500 mg of dried herb equivalent delivering higher potency than most brands.
Recommended Dosage: (Adults) Mix 4 to 5 dropperfuls daily daily in warm water.
