Polysporin Eye & Ear drops are antibiotic drops for external infections such as pink eye. These drops may be used in both the eyes and ears.

Features & Benefits:
  • Heal fast formula
  • Eliminates bacteria causing the infection
  • Speeds healing
  • Fast acting relief of symptoms
Directions for Use: As eye drops, they are appropriate for all ages. As ear drops, appropriate for adults and children 6 years and older (consult doctor before use on children <6 years). Apply 1 to 2 POLYSPORIN Eye & Ear Drops in infected eye or ear 4 times a day, for 7 to 10 days. Avoid contact with the tip of the dropper to prevent contamination of the solution.

How to Apply (As Eye Drops):
  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Tilt the head back or lie down and look toward the ceiling.
  3. With the eyes open, gently pull the lower eyelid below the eyelashes away from the eye to form a pouch.
  4. Hold the container at least 2 cm away and squeeze one drop into the pouch. Slowly release the lower lid.
  5. Gently close the eye for one or two minutes. Do not rub the eye and try not to blink.
  6. If multiple drops are prescribed, wait three to five minutes between each drop.
  7. Do not let the bottle directly touch the eye.
  8. Contact lenses should not be worn until the infection has resolved.
Because the drops can get contaminated over time, discard the bottle one month after opening and do not share product with others.

Medicinal Ingredients (per mL): 10,000 units Polymyxin B (as Sulfate), 0.025 mg Gramicidin.

Non-medicinal Ingredients (alphabetically): alcohol, benzalkonium chloride, poloxamer, propylene glycol, water.

CAUTIONS: If irritation occurs or in case of serious infection or if infection has not started to clear in 2 days, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Consult doctor before use if the cause of the pink eye is unclear, or if there is a marked sensation of something in the eye, sensitivity to light, continuous, abundant discharge, pain in the eye, impaired vision, severe hearing loss, severe pain in the ear or fever.

Great product and cleared up my son's eye infection in a few days. Tube was easy to use and size was convenient to travel with.

Worked really well to treat an ear infection. Easy to use, not messy, and the container is small enough to fit into a purse or carry-on bag for travel.

Bought this product before going to my dr. to have her look at my pink eye. I didn't tell my dr. that I had used this, I was sure she would give some more potent antibiotic eye drops to treat my pink eye. She prescribed this exact product! It worked great, recommend it highly.

I am glad to have found well.ca, with pinkeye having come into the house due to kids in school I was trying to find a product that worked without breaking the bank... I've put 4 stars also because the bottle is very solid and hard to squeeze BUT.... Don't think twice about this product, if you or a family member has pinkeye... Buy it!

Seems to be a great product, but it's hard to squeeze the bottle in the eyes. This is why I only gave it a 4 out of 5.

A must have!! My daughter gets cold symptoms in her eyes all the time. After 12 hours of taking the drops, her eyes are cleared up. I keep multiple bottles in the house as it does say to only use within a month.
