Blessed Thistle is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a digestive tonic and bitter to increase appetite and aid digestion (stomachic), to help relieve dyspepsia, and as an expectorant to help relieve cold symptoms such as excessive catarrh.
Suggested Usage: Adults: Take 2.4-4.8 ml (72-144 drops) in a little water before meals, 3x daily.
Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml): Blessed Thistle tops (Cnicus benedictus) 250 mg Qunatity Crude Equivalent (1:4)
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Grain alcohol, Distilled water, Vegetable glycerine
Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist or before use if you are breastfeeding.
Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.
Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
