These really aren't designed with newborn in mind. The tabs to close are very wide and rough so it is very hard to close up in a way that doesn't irritate the umbilical cord. Had to go buy another brand and use until cord was off and totally healed as these just don't work for that time

I bought two packages of these NB diapers of my baby girl, my due date is in next April but I just wanna everything is ready for her. I know the honest Co. for a long time since they have a famous boss. Honestly, when I touched this diaper I found out it is a bit rough, I don't know if my baby gonna love it or hate it. Pricey but it's organic, I can't wait to put these on my baby.

Terrible. We received these as a gift. The very first diaper we put on within in 10 mins of my daughter wearing it and a single pee, the diaper leaked immediately. Would never recommend and not use the rest. I only gave it one star because the website won't allow me to submit a zero.

We were using Pampers Swaddlers when we first got home from the hospital and they were fine. We use cloth diapers during the day and disposables at night. I prefer the Honest diapers for a few reasons. First, they aren't made with the materials used in other disposable diapers, which I would rather avoid. Second, the absorbant section of the diaper is larger than the Pampers, reaching from the waste in the front all the way to the waste in the back. Third, they are way cuter. I know people like the line on Pampers Swaddlers that turns blue when wet, but I really don't find it so important. As far as the cutout for the chord, I agree that it is an important feature but I still had to fold Pampers Swaddlers in order to prevent the diaper from rubbing the chord, and those have a slight cutout.

Love that these diapers are more chemical free than the leading name brand, makes me feel better about putting it on my newborns skin. The designs are cute too. The downfalls are lack of cutout in the top for the cord, and no blue line indicators showing the diapers are wet. The newborn size are very tiny- perfect for my 6 lb baby, but if you had a very large baby you would want to go straight to size 1

These diapers work well. We haven't had any leaks or blow outs and the prints are super cute. Admittedly, they don't fit around baby's legs as nicely as Pampers and I would have appreciated the cut out around the belly button while the cord was still attached, but these inconveniences are worth it to have chemical-free diapers.
